What is the rent increase every year in Bengaluru?

The usual annual increase written into a Bengaluru rental agreement is five to ten percent, applied when the agreement renews, property portals commonly report.

( SCROLL ↓ )

In sought after IT corridor pockets like Whitefield, HSR Layout or Koramangala, landlords sometimes push for eight to fifteen percent at renewal, especially when demand is high. This is a contract term you agree to upfront, not something fixed by any authority, so it can be negotiated like any other clause. Check the renewal and increase clause before you sign, not after you have already lived there for a year.

Every number on this page is dated, and its source is named beside it. The law is what the statute says; the practice is what Bengaluru does, and where the two differ, both are written down.

The record answers the question. The desk confirms the home.
